Mission Statement

God calls us to live lives of faith, hope and love and to share ourselves and our resources with others:

To fulfill our mission, we will regularly:

·         Be open to the Spirit moving in our lives;

·         Seek to learn about faith, hope and love through continually exploring the meaning of the Good News;

·         Invite ALL people to be a part of St. Luke’s ~ San Lucas community;

·         Share our gifts of time, talent and treasure with those who can benefit from them; and

·         Worship as a community and as individuals through liturgy, sacrament, prayer, music, Scripture, and education.

 

Parish Goals

1.    Grow in personal, congregational and community spirituality.

2.    Nurture our children and youth to grow into the full stature of Christ.

3.    Take the love and Good News of Jesus from the church into the world.

4.    Continually improve our worship services.

5. Increase involvement and participation in church life by our parishioners.

6.    Manage with sound financial and administration plans.

7.    Provide community support in well-maintained, accessible buildings.

Nuestra Misión

Dios nos llama a vivir la vida con fe, esperanza y amor y que la conpartamos, como también nuestros bienes, con otros.

Para lograr nuestra misión, haremos lo siguiente en forma regular:

·         Estar abiertos al Espíritu para que obre sobre nuestras vidas.

·         Buscar maneras de aprender acerca de la fe, la esperanza y el amor, explorando continuamente el significado de las Buenas Noticias.

·         Invitar a TODOS a participar en la iglesia de Saint Luke’s ~ San Lucas.

·         Compartir nuestro tiempo, talentos y bienes con aquellos que pueden beneficarse.

·         Adorar en comunidad y como individuos a través de la liturgia, los sacramentos, los rezos, la música, la Sagrada Escritura y la educaión.

Metas de la Parroquia

1.    Crecer espiritualmente en lo personal, con la congregación y en la comunidad.

2.    Fortalecer a nuestros niños y a nuestros jovenes para que crezcan conociendo la total grandeza de Cristo.

3.    Llevar el amor y las Buenas Noticias desde nuestra iglesia al mundo.

4.    Mejorar nuestras alabanzas en forma continua.

5.    Aumentar la participación de los miembros en las actividades de la iglesia.

6.    Manejar las finanzas basándonos en buenos planes administrativos y financieros

7.  Proporcione la ayuda de la comunidad en edificios bien mantenidos, accesible

8.  Promover el crecimiento de la parroquia para acercarnos más a representar una comunidad cada vez más grande.
